Do you know what causes the camera to automatically shut off while recording video? this usually happens to me while recording and low light.
@deztrina you need to get a sdhc card with higher recording speed, buy a Sandisk class 10 16gb with 30 mb/s

@carmamartsa I’m not able to change the shutter speed and f stop when in video mode. is there a setting I need to change in order to make them modifiable?
i ve got the standard 18-55mm lens. whenever i adjust the lens (not the focus) to zoom in or out the shutter speed changes automatically and the brightness readjusts automatically. is there a way to stop this? it lets the video appear very choppy.

@MrLukasDiSparrow In the menu you can change the video format from NTSC to PAL (and vice versa).
NTSC is capable of 60fps where PAL is only capable of 50fps.
i got 60d but i dont have 30fps but 24 and 25? how come?
Sorry John just to carry on with that if i dial down the aperture to the middle of the meter would that be the best reflection?
Hi John i have just got the 60d it is great, when you explain how to keep the shutter at 50 in my case, when i dial up or down with the aperture how do i know the setting is correct or is it a matter of just looking at the screen to get the true reflection, i have a viewfinder magnifiyer. will the look on the screen give me a true reflection of what the outcome will be, if i like the look for day or night can i save the settings?
