Fantastic photography aide.,
Tested to 210 feet and it performed flawlessly on my Nikon D90. Got photo’s nearly impossible w/o it.On my reccommendation, my niece(Nikon D5000)& and a friend(Nikon D7000) purchased one–they love it. All for $20–yup! An aquaintance at a large chain of photo stores had never heard of it.Said his would trigger his camera out to 1,000 feet & cost $500(for safely shooting artillery explosions, no doubt). A feature I really like is that the receiver can be mounted on the hot shoe, OR, if flash is desired, the unit is light enough to dangle on its cord while the flash unit sets in the hot shoe.
The only downside, and it’s a biggie, MADE IN CHINA.

|Wrong info from seller,
I was disapointed in this product. The seller listed it as Nikon D100 compatable and it was not. I needed it for a photo shoot and it didn’t work with my camera.

|Great unit works perfectly,
This is a great unit works as listed, almost idiot proof just one little thing, how about a small case or pouch to keep it in huh? Unless you have a camera case with lots of pockets you are stuck (I do have a case like that) but other people may not have the money to buy all those things. Come on if you are paying out $25 how about a little case for it hmmmm?
Worked out of the box, one problem is when storing be careful of the transmitter it doesn’t have an on/off switch so the button can be pressed constantly and kill your battery. Funnily enough the receiver does have an on/off switch. Okay that one switch must have been to much to add.
Oh and it only works when the antenna on the transmitter is extended, even next to the receiver it won’t work without that little thing pulled out so do not break it.
But at the end of the day these are all little things and it does a great job, especially if you want to set up your camera for perhaps wildlife pictures and you can be away from it so as not to disturb the customers.
